Directions
Kane County Fairgrounds is located at 525 South Randall Road in St. Charles, IL 60174. The Fairgrounds is 35 miles west of Chicago, south of Rt. 64, and north of Rt. 38.
CUSTOMERS / FREE PARKING:
Customers drive into the west field of the Fairgrounds from Randall Road, and park as the guards direct. The walk-in admission gate is clearly visible on the west fence of the Fairgrounds. Parking is free. Admission is $8.00 and children under 12 are free.
HANDICAPPED ENTRY / FREE PARKING:
Cars with handicapped plates and tags will be directed through the parking lot to the back gate to pay their admission, and will be allowed to drive into the Fairgrounds to park. Our buildings spread over a large area, and these cars will be directed to "Handicapped Parking" in designated areas.
O'HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1: Begin going NORTHEAST on DEPARTURES. (0.7 mile)
2: Merge onto I-190 EAST. (1.9 miles)
3: Merge onto I-294 NORTH via exit #1C to MILWAUKEE/ I-90/ ROCKFORD (toll) (0.4 mile)
4: Merge onto NW TOLLWAY/I-90 WEST toward ROCKFORD (toll) (25.8 miles).
5: Take the RANDALL RD Exit and go SOUTH on Randall Rd. (12.3 miles).
6: Continue on RANDALL RD SOUTH of Rt. 64 (Main Street) and enter the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just SOUTH of Rt. 64.
MIDWAY AIRPORT TO KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1: Begin going North on SOUTH-CICERO AVE/ IL-50 toward PARKING. (2 miles)
2: Merge onto I-55 SOUTH via the ramp- on the left. (11.8 miles)
3: Merge onto IL-83 N/ KINGERY HWY via exit number 274. (1 mile)
4: Turn LEFT onto 75TH ST. (2.7 miles)
5: Stay straight to go onto 75TH STREET/ CR-33 W. (2 miles)
6: Merge onto NORTH-SOUTH TOLLWAY/ I-355 NORTH to WESTERN SUBURBS (toll) (3.5 miles).
7: Merge onto EAST-WEST TOLLWAY/ I-88 W toward AURORA (toll) (12.5 miles).
8: Go NORTH at the FARNSWORTH AV./KIRK RD. Exit to FABYAN PKWY.
9: Go WEST on FABYAN PKWY to RANDALL RD. (3.2 miles).
10: Go NORTH on RANDALL RD just past the main entry & enter the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just NORTH of Rt. 38.
FROM STATES SOUTH OF CHICAGO (VIA INDIANA) TO KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1: Take I-65 NORTH through Indiana.
2: Merge onto I-80 WEST via Exit number 259A toward CHICAGO (toll) (19.4 miles).
3: Take I-294 NORTH toward WISCONSIN (toll) (24.4 miles).
4: Merge onto EAST-WEST TOLLWAY/ I-88 going WEST toward AURORA (toll) (20.6 miles).
5: Go NORTH at the FARNSWORTH AV./KIRK RD. Exit to FABYAN PKWY.
6: Go WEST on FABYAN PKWY to RANDALL RD.
7: Go NORTH on RANDALL RD just past the main entry & enter the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just NORTH of Rt. 38.
FROM STATES SOUTH OF CHICAGO (VIA ILLINOIS) TO KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1: Take I-55 NORTH toward CHICAGO.
2: Take IL-47 Exit #220 toward MORRIS/ DWIGHT (0.3 mile).
3: Turn LEFT onto IL-47 NORTH. (46 miles)
4: Turn RIGHT onto BLISS RD (5 miles).
5: Turn RIGHT onto MAIN ST. to Randall Rd.
6:Go North on RANDALL RD just past the main entry & enter the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just NORTH of Rt. 38.
FROM STATES WEST OF CHICAGO TO THE KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1: Go EAST on I-80.
2: Merge onto I-88 E via Exit number 4B toward STERLING/ ROCK FALLS (toll) (109 miles)
3: Go NORTH on IL-47 to Rt. 38.
4: Go EAST on Rt. 38 to Randall Rd.
5: Go NORTH on RANDALL RD to the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just NORTH of RT. 38.
FROM STATES EAST OF CHICAGO TO THE KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1: Go WEST on 80/90 to 80/94 (not the 90 Skyway) to I-294.
2: Go NORTH on I-294 to I-88.
3: Go WEST on I-88 to Rt. 59 (about 7 miles).
4: Go NORTH on Rt. 59 to Rt. 38 (about 6 miles).
5: Go WEST on Rt. 38 to Randall Rd. (about 8 miles).
6: Turn right and go NORTH on RANDALL RD. to the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just NORTH of Rt. 38.
FROM STATES NORTH OF CHICAGO (VIA WISCONSIN) TO KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1. Take 51 from Madison South to Rockford.
2. Take I-90 from Rockford East to Randall Road in Elgin.
3. Take Randall Road South and go 12.3 miles to St. Charles.
4. Continue on RANDALL RD SOUTH of Rt. 64 (Main Street) and enter the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just SOUTH of Rt. 64.
FROM STATES NORTH OF CHICAGO (VIA MILWAUKEE) TO KANE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS:
1. Go SOUTH on 41 or 94 to Dundee Road, Rt. 68.
2. Go WEST on Dundee Rd to Rt. 59.
3. Go SOUTH on Rt. 59 to Rt. 64 (North Avenue).
4. Go WEST on Rt. 64 through St. Charles to Randall Rd.
5. Turn SOUTH on RANDALL RD and enter the NORTH field by turning WEST at the OAK STREET stop light, just SOUTH of Rt. 64.
METRA RAIL TRAIN SERVICE BETWEEN CHICAGO AND GENEVA:
